Software developed in the lab
LIOV: computer code for the calculation of lightning-induced voltages on overhead lines, developed at the University of Bologna (LISEP) and EPFL (DE-LRE). Further information and a demo version of the LIOV code are available at this address www.ing.unibo.it/die/liov.
LIOV-EMTP96 and Mat-LIOV: programs that extend the simulation capabilities of the LIOV code by means of the interface with the EMTP96 and with the SimPowerSystems in Simulnik-Matlab environment, developed also in cooperation with CESI.
LEGO models: main power systems component models of thermal power plants for the development of engineering simulators in LEGO environment, developed in cooperation with ENEL(CRA)-CESI.

DigSilent: program for the simulation of electromechanical and electromagnetic power systems transients and for the harmonic and reliability analysis.
SimPowerSystems: program for the calculation of transients in power systems in Simulink-Matlab environment.
AMPL, Cplex, Minos: language and optimization codes.
